Should I break up with my boyfriend?

I hate to ask this online but I need some outside advice/opinions.. My bf and I have been together for over a year now and it seems like we are fighting more and more the longer we are together... its like we have lost patience for one another but we still love each other a lot and so we continue trying to make it work... should we just give up and move on or try to make it work? Sometimes I can't take the fighting anymore and say its not worth it but then there are the really good times where I would never want us to break up.. I guess my question is.. What is your experience with a situation like this? Is breaking up and having my heartache worth it or should we try continue and make it work?
