What's wrong with eugenics?

Eugenics is a deplorable practice where human rights were stripped of people. Maybe the road you should be exploring is genetic engineering. Why not correct a dysfunctional gene in utero if you can? Then a child can be born without the disease instead of never being born at all. Even something chronic, like say, migraines, can be corrected before the child is even born. Big deal, some may say. However, millions of dollars are lost in productivity because of sick days due to migraines. Also, think of the health care savings if less people were sick. This is the future I would rather see than the eugenics (that Hitler embraced, by the way).
