If Human is created by God, and if God is perfect, then why are human imperfect?

Humans were made by God, with perfection, however he also gave us reason and the freedom of choice. When Eve made Adam eat the apple, off of the forbidden tree... we were then given free will, and shame. Now we make our own choices, and while we have the power to be perfect (I don't believe in no such thing as perfection) we make our own choices in life. Sin is a hard thing to sustain from! God's original plan, had us being perfect, living in the garden of eden forever! Unfortunately, when God gave us the ability of choice, we screwed it up, not him!
