How does building a hovercraft (mini PC fan hovercraft moter) help reinforce a fundamental concept of physics?

I suppose it's the concept that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In this case, the force from the hovercraft blowing down on the surface lifts the hovercraft off the surface.
