Bought tv show on ipod touch... download error?

I bought an epi of SNL on my 2nd gen. ipod touch. it downloaded completely, but then was "processing" and then it said "download error. Tap to retry." and i've done that a million times and it's still not loaded completely. I know i should've bought it via itunes store on my computer, but i had no idea ipod store was so iffy. please send links or tips!
